Woman Dead, Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Lost Control

Aurora, CO -- A pickup truck lost control on the I-70 off-ramp toward southbound I-225, causing the vehicle to roll over and a passenger to be ejected.

Aurora Police Department (APD) and Aurora Fire Rescue were called to the crash scene around 4:20 AM on Monday. When they arrived, officers pronounced the ejected woman dead on the scene. Additionally, authorities transported a male passenger with serious injuries to the hospital.

APD said it suspects speed was involved, and traffic unit investigators will perform an investigation to determine the official factors that caused the crash. The APD asks anyone who has information about the incident to contact the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

The Adam’s County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased woman’s identity once they have notified her next-of-kin.
