1 Killed, 3 Injured in Boulder Accident When Pickup Split in Half

Boulder, CO -- One person was killed and at least three others injured when a pickup truck split in half in an accident Tuesday, July 16.

Colorado State Patrol responded to an emergency call at 1:51 a.m. in Boulder, where they found a 2004 GMC pickup in an embankment along Flagstaff road. The cab and bed of the truck had reportedly disconnected.

Four people were in the truck, including two 21-year-old females and one 22-year-old male. The two females were seriously injured, while the male suffered unknown injuries. All three were taken to Boulder County hospital for treatment.

Details about the person who was killed have not been released. No further information was reported on potential causes of the crash.
