How to Get an Accident Report from the Aurora Police Department

The City of Aurora offers several ways to get a copy of your accident report.

Reports are available online, through the mail, or in person.

Access and Print Your Report Online

The City of Aurora uses the Report Beam site to allow access to your Aurora, Colorado online accident report.

Select “Purchase a Collision Report,” then narrow your search by selecting “Colorado” followed by “Aurora Police Department.”

Then use the “Quick Find” tool if you have your report number, or enter the following required information:

  • Incident date
  • Location
  • The involved party last name or drivers license number

Then simply pay the $10.00 fee with a credit or debit card and print your report from the comfort of your own home.

Submit a Request Through the Mail

You may obtain a copy of your Aurora, CO police report by mail.

First, you must download, fill out, and print the Aurora Police records request form. This form is found on the “Get a Police Record” page on the official City of Aurora website.

Be prepared to complete the following information on the form,

Your Aurora police report is available in person at the Aurora Police Records Unit.

The unit is on the first floor of the Aurora Police Headquarters Building at 15001 E. Alameda Parkway (between S. Chambers Rd. and S. Sable Blvd. on E Alameda Pkwy).

The department suggests you park on the south side of the Municipal Justice Center, east of the Central Library.

The records unit is open M-F, 10 am - 6 pm and closed on all major holidays.

The cost for an in-person report is the same as for a mail-in request, the first 10 pages are $7.15 and extra pages are $0.25 each. You will have more payment options if you visit the office in person.

Cash, check, and Credit/Debit cards are all accepted forms of payment.
