$1,000,000 Verdict to 73 Year Old Woman After Falling in Medical Center

Ross Ziev represented a 73-year-old woman who fell over a mat which had not been secured to the floor at Lutheran Medical Center, breaking her shoulder and requiring two shoulder surgeries. The hospital offered nothing before a lawsuit was filed and then only offered $12,500 at mediation. The jury returned a verdict which, with interest, was in excess of $1,000,000.
