Elderly Woman Faces Reckless Driving Charges After Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle

Boulder, CO -- The Boulder Police Department is continuing to investigate a crash that happened on Monday, July 15, The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash, 76-year-old Diane Keck, now faces careless driving charges.

Police reported that a 2013 Lexus SUV was making a turn when it hit a motorcycle traveling northbound. One of the motorcycles passengers was killed and the other was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Keck was arrested for careless driving resulting in death and careless driving resulting in injury. Police are asking any witnesses to call Officer DJ Smith at 720-438-5408.
