Weather-Related Car Accidents

There have been multiple injuries after a number of weather-related car accidents across the Denver Metro area, according to 9 News. Some ramps were closed at the interchange of I-70 and I-225, in order to reroute traffic to other roads. One of the ramps at the interchange of I-25 and C-470 was also closed after an accident there. Portions of I-70 heading into the mountains were also closed as drivers were apparently taken by surprise by the late season winter weather. CDOT laid down deicer and sand, but not before a number of crashes across the Denver area. None of the injuries from the accidents is believed to be life-threatening.
