USDA and CDC Report Massive Amounts of Contaminated Ground Beef from Fort Morgan, CO
On Wednesday the USDA announced the recall of over 66 tons of ground beef due to suspected E. coli contamination. According to reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), 1 person has died and at least 17 people have fallen ill after consuming recalled ground beef products.
The ground beef that is being recalled was created using the chuck portion of the cow carcass and is believed to be contaminated with E. coli. All 132,606 pounds of meat being recalled came from Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan and have been distributed to stores throughout Colorado and the rest of the country.

Signs You May Have Eaten Contaminated Ground Beef
If you have consumed any of the above ground beef products since June 21, 2018, there is a chance you may have been exposed to the E. coli virus.
