Severe Crash Closes Eastbound I-70 for Hours

Denver, CO -- I-70 was closed on Tuesday after a severe collision occurred between Northfield Quebec Street and Central Park Boulevard. The interstate reopened later in the morning.

The Denver Police Department said that the crash occurred around 4:00 AM in I-70’s eastbound lanes. Although they have not shared how many people were involved, police said there were serious injuries.

Authorities also have not shared how many vehicles the collision involved.
