Eagle County, CO -- A fatal accident closed I-70 in both directions from Dowd Junction and Post Boulevard.
There are many crashes today, and hazmat is on the scene. This closure should last most of the day — various vehicles are involved in the collision, including at least one semi-truck. Only one fatality has been reported.
Route 6 is the advised alternate route now. According to Colorado State Patrol, the roads are treacherous.
