Woman Killed and Several Injured in Highway 7 Crash Involving Semi

Thornton, CO - One person was killed and four were injured in an early-morning crash on Sundar, August 25th. Police responded to the scene around 1:40 a.m. near the Todd Creek Golf Club in Thornton.

According to reports, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene while another woman and three men were hospitalized in serious condition.

Photos from the crash site show a badly damaged semi on the side of the road and at least one other small vehicle also severely damaged.

The exact cause of the crash is unknown, and authorities are continuing to investigate. Police have said, however, that alcohol is a suspected factor.
