Arapahoe County officials have reported that the former gymnastics coach who owned and operated A+ Athletics in Centennial, Colorado, has been convicted of multiple child sexual assault charges. The exact number of guilty verdicts has not yet been released to the public.

Erik Oldham was originally arrested in May 2022 after a victim provided information that led to a criminal investigation into his conduct and gymnastics program. He had been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust, unlawful sexual contact, enticement of a child, and criminal attempt. He pleaded not guilty to all charges, but on April 5, 2024, a jury returned a guilty verdict. He is currently in Arapahoe County Jail on a no-bond hold and is awaiting sentencing in July.

Criminal investigators don’t think Oldham has completely faced justice, though. It is believed that he may have sexually assaulted additional child victims by abusing his position as a trusted individual, but they have not come forth and filed an official criminal complaint yet. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is currently asking anyone with information about other alleged sexual assaults carried out by Oldham to call their office at 720-874-8477.
