Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-76 Injures One Early Wednesday Morning

Adams County, CO -- One person was injured after a crash involving three vehicles on I-76 early Wednesday morning. The crash occurred between 270 and I-25 at around 6:10 a.m in the westbound lanes of the interstate.

Colorado State Patrol says that the vehicles involved were a 2017 Ford van, a 2006 Chevy truck, and a 1998 Kenworth dump truck. Emergency services transported one person to the hospital for injuries.

The highway was shut down temporarily to clean up a diesel spill from the accident but reopened at 7:25 a.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
