Todd J. Stalmack | Attorney
A graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Todd has 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer. Todd’s specialties include high-exposure catastrophic injury and death claims. Typically, Todd represents clients who have suffered life-altering injuries such as serious neurological injuries, loss of limbs, and permanent disfigurement. He also represents victims’ families in wrongful death lawsuits. Todd’s areas of medical litigation expertise include:
- General surgery,
- Plastic surgery
- Critical care medicine,
- Internal medicine,
- Obstetrics/gynecology, and
- Vascular surgery.
Todd also focuses on construction negligence and accident cases that result in serious injuries. Before starting at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Todd earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Super Lawyers, a lawyer rating company, included Todd on its annual “Rising Star” list from 2011 to 2016. In 2015 and 2016, he was also named an “Emerging Lawyer.” Both recognitions are peer-nominated honors. While at University of Denver Todd was a member of the Order of St. Ives, and earned the American Jurisprudence Award for Torts I, Torts II, and Jurisprudence. He also served as an editor of the Denver University Law Review
Before joining Denver Trial Lawyers ® in 2021, Todd was a partner at Hall, Prangle, & Schoonveld, LLC. He was a member of the firm’s catastrophic trial team.
Previously, Todd also was a partner at Donohue, Brown, Matthewson, & Smith, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. Todd also served as a Judge for the Trial Advocacy Programs at Northwestern University School of Law and Loyola University School of Law.
Todd is admitted to the Colorado Bar and Illinois Bar. His court admissions include the U.S. District Court, Colorado, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
