Fort Collins, CO - A pedestrian died Friday night. According to reports, a Toyota minivan struck the pedestrian in the 200 block of West Harmony Road.

The crash occurred around 8:45 p.m. A male pedestrian, identified as Marvin Hernadez, 23, crossed W. Harmony from north to south. The minivan, traveling west, struck him. According to the police, he was not using a crosswalk. 

Mr. Hernadez was pronounced dead at the Medical Center of the Rockies. The driver of the minivan sustained no injuries.

The authorities sent out their condolences and assured the public that their reconstruction team would work hard to figure out what happened. 

Police closed Westbound Harmony road for four hours while investigators worked. Speed and alcohol did not appear to play a part in the incident.
