Hit and Run in Arvada Seriously Injures 14-Year-Old

Arvada, CO - Arvada police department is searching for an unknown driver who hit a pedestrian and fled the scene this Sunday.

The incident was shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and 64th Avenue.

The pedestrian in the incident, is a 14-year-old boy and police believe a black, two door sedan is the vehicle that hit him. The vehicle has dark tinted windows and possible damage to the car.

Officials took the teenager to a nearby hospital. He has serious injuries, but officials expect him to survive. As of this time, police know the driver fled northbound on Sheridan Boulevard.
