Fatal Head-On Crash in Broomfield
Broomfield, CO -- A woman died early Monday morning after colliding head-on with another vehicle.
The accident happened around 7:00 AM between 160th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. A 1998 Safari Van, traveling north, veered into the southbound lane and struck a Honda.
Both drivers were rushed to local hospitals after authorities freed them of their vehicles. The driver of the Honda did not make it.
Sheridan road closed between Lowell and the Northwest Parkway for the investigation. Roads re-opened several hours later.
The identities of the drivers remain unknown. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
