Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Dead in Aurora

Aurora, CO — A fatal single-vehicle crash on East Calhoun Avenue has left one dead.

The accident occurred early Tuesday morning at 3:15 a.m. A vehicle, traveling westbound, ran a stop sign. Described as a four-door sedan then struck the side of the road and rolled over.

According to reports, the driver was not wearing a seat belt, causing them to be thrown from the vehicle.

When authorities arrived, they pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident and the name of the victim have not yet been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
