Colorado Springs, CO -- Multiple people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash near the entrance to Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 115.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, a Toyota Sienna was driving south on the highway when a Ford F-350 traveling in the same direction hit the Toyota. This caused the vehicle to enter the northbound lanes and collide with a Nissan Pathfinder.

The driver of the Pathfinder was seriously injured, and several people in the Pathfinder were rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Two people in the Sienna, a driver and a passenger, were also injured. The driver of the pickup truck did not sustain any injuries.

Troopers state that all of the people involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. The crash is still under investigation, but troopers don’t suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the incident.
