One Dead After Vehicle Catches on Fire on I-25 Overpass in Adams County

Adams County, CO -- A man died after a single-vehicle crash on 70th Avenue on Sunday.

The Adams County Fire Rescue received a call about a car fire around 8:30 PM.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they had to extract the driver and one passenger from the vehicle. The ACFR determined that the car crashed and then caught on fire.

Both the male driver and female passenger were taken to the hospital. The driver later died. The woman is in critical condition, according to authorities. 

The Colorado State Patrol helped to clean up and investigate the crash. They have not released any further information about the crash or the identities of the involved individuals.
