2 Injured After Driver Plows Through Crowd in Lodo

Denver, CO - At least one person was injured when a car drove into a crowd near Coors Field around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, August 25th.

According to police, a suspect has been identified but is not yet in custody.

Reports of the incident state that it occurred after a fight broke out in LoDo.

The car drove into a crowd and hit at least two people, one of whom went over the hood and into the air before hitting the ground. The other was able to get up and quickly walk away.

Both people were taken to the hospital for treatment, but fortunately neither was seriously injured.

Video footage of the event showed people throwing things are the driver before he accelerated into the crowd. Other footage shows members of the crowd and attempting to get to the other passengers inside the vehicle.
