Booster Seat FAQ
A young girl in Denver who believes that she owes her life to the fact that she was properly restrained in a booster seat while riding in the car is now trying to help other kids, according to 9 News. The little girl, riding in a booster seat in a car driven by her mother was in a car accident in which the area of the car where she was sitting was struck by another vehicle. Her mother is convinced that it was the booster and seat belt that saved her daughter’s life. Seeing that some of her schoolmates don’t ride in child safety seats, she decided, while in the hospital, to launch a campaign at her school to promote awareness of the importance of car safety.
Has your child been injured in a car accident that was caused by the negligent driving of another person? Speak with an experienced Denver car accident attorney immediately to discuss your options.
Unfortunately, some children are injured in part because, unlike this little girl, they were not properly restrained. However, the fact is that if the accident was the fault of the other driver, you may still be entitled to partial compensation for the damages in the accident. In a Colorado personal injury claim, a jury can decide how much the injury was one person’s fault, and how much it was another’s. To make it simple, if they decide that the injury was half the other person’s fault, then you would be entitled to half the damages that you suffered in the accident.
