According to police, the woman was riding the scooter in the street when she failed to stop at a stop sign. She crashed into a passing car, suffering injuries to her shoulder. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police have stated that the woman was at fault and is likely to be cited for her involvement in the crash. Reports say this crash comes just a month after the city’s first fatal scooter-related crash on August 4th.
