61-Year-Old Woman Killed in a Tragic Car Accident

A 61-year-old woman was killed in a tragic car accident south of Boulder, according to the Denver Post. The crash, which involved three vehicles, was caused by a young man driving a Subaru attempting to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone on the two lanes of Colorado Highway 93. When he saw an oncoming car approaching, he tried to slow down and get back into his own lane behind the vehicle SUV that he had been trying to pass. He actually struck the corner of the SUV, then hit the oncoming Jaguar head on. Both the Jaguar and the Subaru rolled. The woman driving the Jaguar died at the scene; the young man may face criminal charges in connection to the incident.
