Maker of Trans-Vaginal Mesh Held Liable for Injuries | Denver Product Liability Attorney
A California jury has ordered C.R. Bard Medical, Inc. to pay a patient and her husband $5.5 million for injuries the woman sustained from an implanted “Avaulta Mesh”, a mesh sling used to treat vaginal prolapse. The California jury determined that the manufacturer knew that the defective mesh could cause severe injuries, including infections and complications requiring multiple surgeries.
